Konbu is a Japanese seaweed with a rich flavor and is one of the main ingredients in making dashi soup stock. This is in part thanks to the large amount of glutamic acid contained in the product giving a dish savory taste.

Konbu is mainly used to prepare dashi.
-Heat a sheet of konbu before boiling.
-Turn off the heat and take out konbu, that’s all.
